At the launch of the GreenToMarket method, we were on hand to demonstrate our commitment to integrating the environment into our product innovation plans. This event, which was open to all, was organised by Samuel MAYER, Director of the Eco-Design Unit and Florence ROULENQ, Director of Marketing & Cies.
GreenToMarket focuses on transforming business offerings integrating the environmental dimension, whilst respecting growth and profitability objectives.
"GreenToMarket is a pragmatic and simple method outlining the steps to be followed by marketers. It combines responsible marketing and eco-design. The method involves integrating life cycle thinking from the design phase of a product or service", explains Florence Roulenq, director of Marketing & Cies.

Our tablets are environmental by nature: waterless production with little energy, zero effluent discharge.
"As a result of our environmental diagnosis, we have chosen to work in particular on reducing the use of water and single-use plastics as part of our company strategy.
"My little 12g tablet requires much less volume to transport than its liquid equivalent: we can now greatly optimise the filling of a box and a truck. The volume of transport to the customer, and then from the customer to the consumer, will be reduced: there will be up to 20 times fewer lorries on the roads.
Ecodesign at Eurotab means above all designing new products in tablet format that are innovative and highly respectful of the environment, while improving recycling. Eco-design is a major innovation lever for Eurotab, its main advantage being above all environmental.
Our Research and Development teams use LCA (Life Cycle Assessment) software, developed by independent experts, to identify the main environmental impact areas of our products in tablet format and to find solutions for improvement.
Thanks to the LCA tool and our initiatives, our new generation of tablets have a lot of environmental advantages:
- weight reduced from 16g to 12g
- 94% of ingredients of natural origin
- 99% biodegradable
- they do not contain water
- packaging is minimised: Our cardboard boxes are much more compact with a better fill rate. 25% fewer cardboard boxes are used resulting in a capacity of 75% more boxes
Eurotab is one of the founding members of the Pôle Eco-Conception (Eco-design cluster). The cluster is the national centre for eco-design and life cycle performance. It was created in 2008 to support the development of sustainable consumption and production methods.
