Every year, 2 million children die from diarrhoea, by drinking dirty water. Today, 1.5 billion people do not have access to drinking water.
AQUASURE: the solution for clean drinking water.
The Aquasure project was launched in order to allow a greater number of people to gain access to drinking water.
The concept is designed for the emergency services during natural disasters and conflicts and for the developing countries, for the long-term treatment of surface water through the use of a small treatment station specially adapted for the concept.
The concept involves a twin-layer,
dual-action tablet allowing you to produce clean drinking water. Firstly flocculation and coagulation takes place, then chlorination (sequenced effect patented).
Treatment time is between 30 and 90 minutes depending upon the water temperature.
Field trials have been carried out in Madagascar, Cape Verde, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo with UNICEF, Solidarités, Trans-Mad’, the International Committee of the Red Cross and with the French and German armed forces during NATO training in Cape Verde.
